Inviting people into reconciliation is a Christ-given ministry. Because God chooses to use His people for that ministry, it takes a person responding to His call for anything to change.
PRAY FOR
“Prayer is the greatest weapon that any disciple-maker can wield” (Jerry Trousdale, Miraculous Movements).
We’re told the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
10 INDIVIDUALS
People are God’s prize. You probably won’t have to search very far to find 10 people you already know and love who do not know Jesus. These are the people you will be praying for.
1 YEAR
Colossians 4:2 calls us to be devoted to prayer. We are asking you to commit an entire year to pray for God to open a door for those 10 people to hear the good news of Jesus.
THE PRIZE CHALLENGE

Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 2:19 that the “crown” that he and his coworkers will glory in, in the presence of Jesus, is the people they won to Christ.
That means, after we have received the best prize, our own salvation in Christ, the prize we strive for on this side of heaven is other people.
In fact, in addition to the Word of God, people are the only thing on this side of heaven that will last into eternity. An imperishable crown.

THE CENTURION CHALLENGE

Pray daily for 10 individuals
Find 9 others to pray for 10 individuals
If you know other Christians in your community, in your neighborhood, or at work, this challenge is to invite them into prayer for “The Prize”.
When you rise to this challenge, you will be praying into existence a new church, as the average American church is about 100 people.
